How Long? The hunt will take up to two hours to complete and can be incorporated into a half or full day trip by stopping off for lunch and/or visiting other educational sites en route or nearby.

You can purchase extra treasure hunt booklets for smaller teams or a larger group, (please note as a team building activity we recommend no fewer than 3 and no more than 5 people in a team). You are told where to start your treasure hunt, given simple directions to follow and a map of the area. In between directions you have questions to answer, the answers are found in the surrounding area for e.g. on buildings, plaques, signs and statues. You will also be set some extra scavenger tasks to complete. These are optional and include collecting things, photo opportunities and other fun activities! The aim of the hunt is to gain as many points as possible by answering the clues correctly and completing the extra tasks.
Once you have completed your treasure hunt and gathered back into your group, you can swap booklets to mark the answers. Following this, you can visit the members area on our website where you can personalise and print your very own huntfun certificates. (There is no actual treasure at the end by the way sorry!) The winning team is the one with the most points!
This hunt is mostly suitable for wheelchair users. There is however an area of grass to negotiate at the Roman Fort with some fairly steep sections.
